Irritant sprayed in school toilet: pupil in hospital
Unknown persons sprayed an irritant in a school toilet in Fürth on Thursday, causing respiratory problems for around 40 people. According to the police, four pupils were taken to hospital for further treatment after the incident. Firefighters brought pupils from two floors of the school building outside.
Lessons continued in the other areas of the secondary school. The police are investigating dangerous bodily harm.
The incident of irritant spraying in the school toilet has raised concerns about safety in educational institutions. Such incidents are unfortunate and should not occur in Central France's schools, where children should feel secure and focus on their learning.
