Following apprehendment - Investigators lauded by Interior Minister in connection with Valeriia probe.

Following the capture of the individual under suspicion for the slaying of young Valeria in Dobeln, Saxony's Interior Minister Armin Schuster voiced his appreciation towards the investigators. "I'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Chemnitz Police Presidium for their prompt investigations and to our Czech counterparts for their productive collaboration, as well as to every police officer involved," the CDU politician commented on a Friday, as per announcements from the Dresden ministry. He expressed hope, "that with the apprehension of a suspect, this heinous crime will be resolved speedily." Initial reports suggested the detention of a 36-year-old man in Prague, who stands as the prime suspect in the tragic demise of the nine-year-old girl from Dobeln.
