Three months after an alleged racist incident during a move on May 1st in Nagold (district of Calw), police and prosecutors continue to investigate on suspicion of incitement. Several suspects have been identified so far, a police spokesperson said. "The investigations by the Criminal Police Directorate are ongoing." A video was shared on social networks, showing participants of a group allegedly chanting racist slogans during the annual May wagon tour in the region.

The organizers of the parade and Nagold's Mayor Jürgen Großmann condemned the incident. According to the CDU politician, the May wagon had indeed passed through Nagold on May 1st, but it had come from another town in the district of Calw.

Media reports stated that the song "L'amour toujours" by Gigi D'Agostino was playing during the incident. To the tune of the party hit, visitors at a bar on Sylt had chanted "Foreigners out" and "Germany for the Germans", which had caused great outrage.

The investigation into the racist incident is being handled by the [The Office of the Prosecutor] in Calw, considering the incident occurred during the May wagon tour in the district. The prosecutors are examining the case on charges of incitement, following the disturbing events captured in the viral video.
