After around two and a half months since the brutal murder of a 15-year-old girl near the Rhine in Worms, the state prosecutor's office and the Mainz police force have undertaken a crime investigation reconstruction. The objective, as stated by the police, is to decipher the potential progression of the crime and attribute "significant crime-related actions" to those involved in the crime. The parents are believed to be the perpetrators.
For the reconstruction, the crime scene on the Rhine banks in Worms was sealed off mid-afternoon on Tuesday. The police documented the occurrences using handheld cameras and a drone from above. Any potential findings from the reconstruction will now be incorporated into the ongoing investigation.
The lifeless body of the 15-year-old was discovered near the Rhine banks in mid-June. An autopsy concluded that she had perished due to drowning. The 39-year-old father and 34-year-old mother are under suspicion. According to the police, the accused allegedly chose to eliminate their daughter due to their dissatisfaction with her lifestyle. All individuals are Afghan nationals residing in Pirmasens.
