Investigation into drug gang: 41-year-old in custody

Police have found around 1.6 kilograms of cannabis during searches of suspected dealers' homes in Halle. Small quantities of amphetamine and meth, a blank-firing weapon and a stun gun were also seized, the police announced on Friday. A total of four apartments had been searched the day before.

Police have found around 1.6 kilograms of cannabis during searches of suspected dealers' homes in Halle. Small quantities of amphetamine and meth, a blank-firing weapon and a stun gun were also seized, the police announced on Friday. A total of four apartments had been searched the day before.

Five men from Halle aged between 18 and 41 are being investigated. The oldest of them had been arrested. When he was brought before the magistrate on Friday, he tried to flee. However, police officers were able to stop him after a short pursuit. He was taken to a correctional facility.
