A 22-year-old mom, under the influence of alcohol, crashed her car while driving with her newborn baby. Thankfully, neither the mother nor her child were injured in the collision that took place in Bremerhaven. The incident was announced on Tuesday by the police. The young woman was behind the wheel on Monday evening when her car collided with two parked vehicles by the roadside. The scent of alcohol was noticeable on the mother, and an initial breath test revealed a reading of over 1.0 promille. Furthermore, she needed to go to the police station for a blood draw and had her driver's license taken away. It's estimated that the total damage caused by the accident is approximately €10,000.
