After a possible racist act occurred in the town of Nagold within Baden-Württemberg, inquiry is taking place for incitement to hatred. The police in Pforzheim announced on Tuesday that the investigation entails the criminal police and the public prosecutor's office in Tübingen, involving a group of people who were in the city of Calw district with a float on May 1st. Multiple media outlets state that individuals from the group were caught on video yelling racist remarks.

As per the police spokesperson, the main focus of the investigation is finding out the identity of those who took part in the event, causing it to potentially be a larger group. There is a initial claim of a criminal code violation in paragraph 130, which deals with incitement to hatred.

Recently, a video surfaced that has caused backlash, depicting people at a bar on Sylt moaning to the tune of the party anthem "Ausländer raus" and "Deutschland der Deutschen." The state security department is currently examining the occurrence.
