The CSU has now become the most powerful faction in the European election held in Bavaria, securing around 39.7% of the total votes. Despite not being able to maintain the same percentage as obtained five years ago (40.7%), it has managed to outperform its performance in the 2023 state election where it garnered 37.0%. Following the CSU in majority votes are the AfD with 12.6%, the Greens at 11.8%, the SPD with 8.9%, Free Voters with 6.8%, the FDP accounting for 3.9%, and the Left Alliance with 3.8%.
