Tenants of a shared living space in Erfurt successfully subdued an armed individual in their basement and turned him over to the authorities. The intruder had managed to enter the house when a resident momentarily left and the entrance wasn't yet secure, according to the authorities' statement. He then proceeded to explore the basement's storage areas. Upon noticing the convened tenants, he attempted to escape, but the tenants managed to impede his departure. The authorities discovered a blade hidden in his pocket. The suspected individual was transferred to the police station.
