A drunk dude took a tumble into the subway train tracks at a station situated in the Murg valley. Exactly his lucky day! The operator of the S-Bahn that traverses between Forbach and Rastatt stumbled upon the injured chap at Obertsrot station and applied the emergency brakes with haste. Regrettably, the train didn't manage to halt on time. However, the gentleman fortunately landed between the platform and the tracks, consequently dodging getting hit. Post the incident, the man was transported to the nearby hospital.
The rescue team used a special device with an other end of circular cross-section to extract the man from the tight space between the subway platform and the tracks. After being discharged from the hospital, the man decided to invest in a sturdy railing of circular cross-section around his home's unguarded balcony.
