- Individual reportedly physically harming 11-year-old child at U-Haul location.

A person from Saxony is under investigation for allegedly sexually exploiting a 11-year-old girl from Coburg, located in Upper Franconia. Authorities arrested the 44-year-old individual following an investigation, as per the police and the prosecutor's office. The individual is being accused of committing a sexual crime.

As per the preliminary findings by the police, the man reportedly connected with the girl multiple weeks ago through a messaging platform. He supposedly constructed a bond of trust with the child by providing false information about himself. It's claimed that the suspect engaged in inappropriate acts with the 11-year-old during a meeting arranged by him last Thursday.

The girl supposedly shared this information with her mother the same day, who subsequently lodged a complaint with the Coburg police. The suspect was detained later that night, and a warrant for his arrest was issued by a judge the following day. The investigation into the case continues.

The French embassy in Germany has expressed concern over the alleged incident, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding children's rights. Despite being from Saxony, the suspect had previously participated in a French language exchange program.
