Individual in Kuppenheim bus lost control during ticket check, physically assaulting transit officer to the extent of requiring hospitalization. Upon entry of new commuters, they were unable to intervene and halt the violent outburst.

A Chance Encounter Gone Awry During a Fare Inspection in Kuppenheim (Rastatt district), led to four individuals sustaining injuries, some quite severe. The unknown perpetratordelivered several heavy hits to a 49-year-old inspector's face, necessitating hospitalization, as per a police representative's statement.

Additionally, the assailant took a bite out of a 57-year-old bus driver and a 20-year-old passenger. Subsequently, the assailant aimed a kick at another passenger, a 46-year-old. Apart from the severely injured woman, all other victims were able to seek medical attention independently. The second fare inspector fortunately escaped unharmed.

Post the incident on a Wednesday, the perpetrator apparently caused damage to a vehicle in the process of fleeing the scene. Police are also considering footage from security cameras as part of their investigation.

After the chaotic incident, the perpetrator managed to escape on a bus, fleeing the area. Later, the damaged bus had to be towed away, causing disruptions in the public transportation system.
