Approximately 300,000 euros in damage and a few power disruptions occurred due to a driver's decision to evade a traffic stop in the dead of night. The van smashed into a power station during the high-speed chase in Dreieich (part of Offenbach). Three stationary cars, a pedestrian bridge, a house facade, and several posts took the brunt of the impact.

As per police reports, the 28-year-old driver had a 1.69% alcohol concentration in his system and was operating without a valid driver's license or residence permit. He eventually abandoned the damaged vehicle and attempted to flee on foot, only to be eventually apprehended and detained by an officer.

According to the police spokesperson, the passenger vehicle was flagged due to peculiar driving patterns. There were no reports of injuries for the driver or the three passengers in the vehicle.

The 28-year-old driver was pursued by the police after exhibiting suspicious driving behavior. The high-speed chase led to significant damage and power disruptions, requiring the intervention of the local police force.
