A guy is under suspicion for striking a pedestrian with his vehicle and subsequently taking off, as reported in Esslingen. Before this incident, the suspect had allegedly driven against the flow of traffic on a one-way street, as per the cops. A bus driver who encountered him engaged in an argument with him.

The man reportedly increased his speed and drove further down the one-way street, eventually hitting a pedestrian who was crossing the street. The pedestrian tumbled to the ground and sustained injuries. The alleged offender is said to have carried on driving post-collision without ever stopping.

The injured pedestrian is a worker in an emergency service. The police are yet to establish whether he was on duty when the accident occurred, the police spokesperson mentioned. The authorities are now hunting for witnesses to the incident.

The pedestrian's quick action to cross the street unfortunately led to a serious accident. Regrettably, such accidents can often result in severe injuries and legal consequences.
