Ministry of the Interior - Increase in violence against police officers foreseeable
According to the Ministry of the Interior, the number of attacks against police and emergency services in Lower Saxony will also increase this year. This also applies to the number of injuries, the Ministry of the Interior in Hanover told the German Press Agency in response to an inquiry.
The Ministry stated that no conclusive data is yet available for this year. This is to be expected when the police crime statistics are presented. The Ministry of the Interior emphasized that the available figures could be used to identify trends.
