In Cologne, a driver without a license attempted to flee from the cops, resulting in a car accident that left him seriously injured and his passenger lightly hurt. Two police patrol cars were on the A3 motorway at night when they tried to inspect the vehicle. The 27-year-old driver decided to escape, leading to a pursuit by a patrol car.
The car veered off the road in the city center, smashed into some rocks, and ultimately landed on its roof. The driver had to be rushed to the hospital with severe injuries, while the passenger sustained only minor ones. Furthermore, seven other vehicles were damaged in the crash.
The man has three outstanding arrest warrants and doesn't hold a valid driver's license, according to the police.
