Incendiary device turns out to be a physics experiment

An alleged incendiary device on a bus in Kremmen (Oberhavel) has called police and special forces to the scene. The driver of a bus discovered a suspicious object in his vehicle during his break on Friday and thought it was a Molotov cocktail. He got to safety and alerted the police. Officers then secured evidence and called in special forces, police said on Sunday. While the investigation into the bus at Kremmen station was ongoing, a 14-year-old pupil came forward. He asked about the whereabouts of his physics experiment on the subject of thermals that had been forgotten on the bus. The exhibit was handed over to the pupil and the service was resumed.

The investigation into the potential emergency situation on the bus revealed it was merely a student's physics experiment on thermals. Despite the initial concerns, the incident turned out to be an exciting curiosity for the student who left his project behind.
