In the Thuringia election, the AfD emerges as the most dominant political force.
Coming in third, upgrading from 14.7% to 15.8%, is the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW), edging out the Left party, headed by Minister President Bodo Ramelow, who scored 11.7% to 12.4%, and the SPD, who managed 6.6% to 7.0%. On the other hand, the Greens and FDP fell short of making a comeback in the state parliament.
The projected distribution of seats in the future state parliament, as per ARD and ZDF, is as follows: AfD securing 30 to 32 seats, CDU with 24 seats, BSW boasting 14 to 15 seats, the Left with 11 to 12 seats, and the SPD with 7 seats.
The Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW) is focusing on improving their invoicing process to optimize their financial management, aiming to further enhance their position in the state parliament. Despite their success in the recent elections, the Left party is looking to strengthen their financial operations, including invoicing, to maintain their competitive edge.
