Ingredients for four servings
- 1 leek
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 1 bunch of fresh basil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 600g fresh Gnocchi
- 3 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
- 500g ground beef
- 1 splash of soy sauce
- 120ml vegetable broth
- Salt, pepper
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- 1 tbsp dried basil
- 200g fresh cheese
- 100g cheddar
Instructions
- Clean the leek and chop it into rounds. Peel and finely mince the garlic and onion. Wash, dry, and finely chop the basil.
- Melt butter in a skillet. Add the Gnocchi and sauté until golden. Remove from the skillet.
- Add olive oil to the skillet. Sauté the garlic and onions briefly. Add the ground beef and cook until crumbled.
- Add the leek. Deglaze with a splash of soy sauce and vegetable broth. Season with salt, pepper, chili and paprika powder, and basil. Stir in the fresh cheese.
- Let it simmer for about 5 minutes with the lid closed.
- Then add the pre-cooked Gnocchi. Let it cook for another 3 minutes. Stir in the cheese.
- Divide onto plates, garnish with fresh basil, and serve.
