Edibles and beverages - In the future, Corona beer will be brewed at Hasseröder in the Harz area.
The biggest beer corporation on the planet, AB Inbev, has commenced production of its Corona Extra beer in Germany. They affirmed this upon inquiry, explaining that it's a component of their business plan to manufacture the Mexican-born beer at the Wernigerode (Saxony-Anhalt) brewery. The spokesperson from the company revealed that substantial funds have been allocated to modernize the Hasseröder brewery. Brewing of "Corona Extra" has already begun in Wernigerode. Nevertheless, they didn't disclose whether or when this beer will be launched or in what quantity. Apart from the German market, they will also produce for adjacent export markets.
The Wernigerode brewery, as per the company, is now part of the most efficient hubs in the AB Inbev European network. The conglomerate owns a plethora of beer brands in Germany, such as Hasseröder, Diebels, Beck's, and Franziskaner.
