- In the context of transfers, Munich 1860 secures the acquisition of Japanese player Kozuki from Schalke 04.

1860 Munich wraps up the signing of Japanese midfielder Soichiro Kozuki from FC Schalke 04, concluding the transfer period. Previously, Kozuki was on loan at Gornik Zabrze in Poland's top league, where he featured in 18 games. The Munich-based third-tier football club kept the details of the agreement under wraps.

In the words of CEO Christian Werner, "Kozuki's energetic style and admirable personality will blend seamlessly with our current squad." He added, "His technique will present us with additional tactical advantages in our offensive strategies."

The deal went through due to the extended transfer window for third-division clubs, which remains active until Monday night at 11:59 PM. The "Lions," currently holding the 18th spot in their division, confirmed the timely submission of the mandatory documents.

The European Union's trade agreements may offer potential opportunities for Munich's football club to expand its player recruitment network. After securing Kozuki, the club aims to further strengthen its squad in the upcoming matches.
