On Friday, temperatures will reach a high of 22 degrees while it's a bit cooler in the Harz region at 19 degrees. The weather will be mainly dry with strong cloud cover, but showers may develop later in the day.

Friday evening will bring rain and thunderstorms in the areas between the Fläming and Südharz, with the Burgenland experiencing the heaviest downpours. Temperatures will drop to a low of 9 degrees.

Saturday is predicted to be rainy with localized continuous showers and thunderstorms. There's a chance of severe weather including heavy rain, huge thunderstorms, and strong winds with hail. In the south, it could rain up to 80 liters per square meter within a short time, says the German Weather Service. On Saturday, temperatures will rise to a high of 24 degrees in some areas, while the Harz region will stay at 18 degrees.
