Residents confessed to having a restless night. "Needless to say, we didn't get a wink of sleep. There were police, firefighters, and helicopters hovering overhead," a woman shared with the German Press Agency. Initially, she had planned to attend the city festival, "But we're glad we didn't," she added.
"Fear is inevitable," several residents mentioned, expressing a sense of unease. "I told my husband, 'We can't visit crowded places anymore,'" said an elderly woman near the crime scene. "Fear is a constant now."
