In May, Berlin emerged as the warmest federal state in Germany.

In the German capital, May was marked by sunny weather with limited rainfall. The DWD reported that the thermometer surpassed the 25-degree mark on ten occasions last month. The average temperature of 17.4 degrees was the highest in Germany, far surpassing the long-term average.

Current Climate Conditions - In May, Berlin emerged as the warmest federal state in Germany.

In Berlin, there were just a few days with rain showers, totalling to 45 liters per square meter. Sunshine, on the other hand, was abundant, clocking in at around 275 hours. This made the city notably sunnier than the national average. Additionally, the rainfall in Berlin was markedly lower than the German average of 125 liters per square meter, as reported by DWD.
