The poll outcome: - In Heilbronn's regional elections, the CDU emerges as the dominant party.

The CDU claimed the most votes in the Heilbronn municipal elections, earning around 23.6% of the total votes. The AfD took the second spot with roughly 15.9% of the ballots. The SPD secured third place with 14.7%, and the Greens claimed 13.8% of the votes. The FDP received 7.3% of the total votes. In total, 88,000 people were eligible to cast their ballots. The turnout for the election was around 50.6%, compared to 48.7% in 2019.

In the last local poll in 2019, the CDU led with 22.4% of the votes. The Greens came in second, capturing 20.3%, followed by the SPD with 18.7%. The FDP took 9.9%, and the AfD earned 9.7%.

The countrywide voter demographic for elections to district, county, and village councils was about 8.6 million individuals. The first meeting of the newly formed city council in Heilbronn is slated for July 23rd.
