Three cars parked under a carport were consumed by flames one Saturday night in Dabel, Ludwigslust-Parchim district. Upon the firefighters' arrival, the carport and vehicles were already ablaze, as reported by the police. Thankfully, the residential house next to it was unscathed from the blaze, although it did suffer minor damage due to the intense heat. The police estimated the total damages to be around 50,000 euros. The criminal police have since launched an investigation regarding the cause of the fire.
