In Chemnitz, flood barriers are being deployed.

Large-scale weather disturbance - In Chemnitz, flood barriers are being deployed.

Sandbag filling hubs were also established at the Central Building Yard and in Reichenhainer Street. Residents could freely stuff sandbags there, it was reported. The stations were scheduled to be operational on Friday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm and on Saturday morning from 8:00 am, in addition to Sunday as necessary.
