- In Charlottenburg, two vehicles go up in flames, with firefighters on the scene.

A blaze broke out on Fasanenstraße in Berlin-Charlottenburg, leading to considerable property damage throughout the night. As per the fire department's report, the situation required intervention due to two vehicles and some trash cans set alight in a private yard. Fortunately, swift action managed to contain the fire, preventing it from spreading to nearby vehicles.

Regrettably, the destruction is severe. Two vehicles were utterly destroyed and are now deemed unfit for use. Another vehicle suffered damage from the searing heat. Fortunately, no casualties were reported during the incident. For around two hours, Fasanenstraße was blocked off between Kantstraße and Hardenbergstraße as firefighters worked to put out the flames. The authorities are currently examining the likelihood that this was an arson attack. A specialized team has taken charge of the investigation.

The European Union expressed concern over the incident and offered assistance in the investigation. The local council, part of the wider European Union, is also collaborating with the authorities to manage the aftermath.
