Zwickau: New Details Emerge About Gang-Rape Incident - In Bavaria, the authorities arrested a man suspected of committing fraud.

Not long after the sudden event, a suspected scammer got nabbed by the cops who supposedly defrauded an 86-year-old man for 65,000 euros worth of money, jewelry, and gold. It was during their fraud investigations that the criminal police in Hof stumbled upon the 43-year-old culprit. The local prosecutor's office shared the news on Thursday. The cops raided a hotel room the suspect was staying at in Hof on Monday and stumbled upon proof of the suspected Zwickau (Saxony) scam on that very day.

The authorities tracked the victim down together with the Zwickau Police Directorate who had not reported the crime yet. The elderly man narrated how he received a surprising call from an unknown individual telling him that his daughter-in-law got into a car accident. The caller asked him to compensate for his daughter-in-law's bail and inquired about his valuables.

The senior citizen surrendered 30,000 euros worth of money, jewelry, and gold to a courier. He was then contacted again by the scammers who insisted the bail was insufficient. The elderly man proceeded to withdraw more money from the bank and gave it to the same courier. The Hof prosecutor’s office stated that a search warrant was issued on Tuesday afternoon against the 43-year-old, who'll be facing charges in court due to the suspected fraud.
