Munich: Unexpected Thunderstorm Causes Chaos - In an underground parking garage, a fire ravaged six motorcycles.

At around 9:20 pm on a Wednesday, the fire department received an alarm. This was followed by multiple calls where people reported seeing flames and smoke rising from the ventilation ducts of a subterranean parking garage on Ingolstaedter Street. The flames were visible even from the fire truck as it approached the scene.

This parking facility caters to several structures above it and is also connected to the residential buildings. Hence, the firefighters proceeded to inspect each of the impacted buildings. Gladly, the rooms in these buildings were clear of the smoke, thanks to the fact that the doors linking the underground garage and the residential complexes were closed.
