A 40-year-old biker met his end following a crash involving a vehicle on a Hannover-area road. On a friday, as per Saturday's police report, the rider tried to outmaneuver a bus on a curvy track in Wunstorf. Unfortunately, he didn't spot an oncoming car and clashed head-on with it.
The force of the collision pushed the car onto the roadside. The 67-year-old motorist and his 65-year-old passenger both emerged unscathed, as stated by the authorities.
The biker endured severe injuries and was rushed to a Hannover hospital via air ambulance. Regrettably, he succumbed to his wounds later on. The road between Großenheidorn and Poggenhagen was blocked for around five hours post the incident.
The police in Wunstorf are investigating the circumstances surrounding the biker's crash. Despite the biker's unfortunate demise, the driver and passenger of the car involved in the collision were unharmed.
