Low-tier football team TSV 1860 Munich has grabbed Thore Jacobsen from SV Elversberg. "We've meticulously evaluated our previous season's flaws and believe that Thore is key to playing more commandingly and authoritatively in certain match situations next year," said the team's sports director, Christian Werner, in a statement on Thursday.

The 27-year-old central midfielder had been signed to SV Elversberg 07 before. He scored three goals and set up two more in his 30 matches in the most recent season. "It's really heartwarming that the lions have put so much effort into recruiting me," expressed Jacobsen.
