The 33-year-old Berger saved two penalties in a row in Marseille after a scoreless regular and extra time, and scored the decisive penalty to secure a 4:2 win. The German women's team will play against the USA, Berger's adopted home, in the semi-finals on Tuesday (18:00 CET) in Lyon.
