IGH presents assessment on Israel's settlement policy in Palestinian territories

In February, at the request of the United Nations, the IGH held a one-week session during which testimonies on the effects of the occupation since 1967 were heard. In total, 52 states expressed their views before the IGH, with the majority calling for an end to the Palestinian territories' Israeli occupation.

The International Court of Justice, located in The Hague, agreed to hold a session regarding the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories, as requested by the UN. Many nations, including 52, presented their crew policies and opinions on the issue before the court. Despite Israel's arguments, the majority of states urged an end to the occupation in the Palestinian territories, including GazaStrip, as per the IGH's future ruling.
