Iconic British musical ensemble Oasis declares reunion and global concert series in 2025.

Starting July 4th, there are initially 14 performances lined up in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. The group also plans to perform on continents outside of Europe "later next year".

Formed in Manchester, northwest England in 1991, the band played a significant role in kickstarting the Britpop scene of the decade, with their albums achieving massive sales.

These upcoming concerts mark the band's return since the split in 2009, following the separation of the Gallagher brothers, which led to the band's disbandment.

A statement reveals that the reunion wasn't triggered by any grand event, but a gradual realization that the time was right. Tickets for the "Oasis Live '25 World Tour" in UK and Ireland go on sale August 31st at 10:00 AM (CEST). The possibility of new songs isn't clear yet.

The tour will commence in Cardiff on July 4th with two shows, followed by four performances in Manchester a week later. July 25th and 26th, 2025, will see Oasis performing at Wembley Stadium in London, with additional shows on August 2nd and 3rd. Post this, they will move to Edinburgh and Dublin. These shows are hailed as some of the "most memorable live acts" of the decade.

The announcement of the comeback and world tour garnered hundreds of thousands of likes on social media. Fans expressed their excitement, reminiscing past concerts like, "Can't wait to see Oasis live again. Last time was in 1996 at Loch Lomond".

Rumors of a reunion for the famous band, known for hits like "Wonderwall" and "Don't Look Back In Anger", had been circulating. On Monday, both brothers shared a video clip online, hinting at August 27th, 1924, as a potential date.

The feud between the two siblings, Liam and Noel, has been symbolic of their music and the band. Tensions peaked in 2009 when Liam broke Noel's guitar during a fight at a festival in Paris, leading to their separation. They mainly communicated through social media, engaging in mutual attacks.

Recently, more conciliatory tones have been noticeable. In 2023, Noel mentioned, "Never say never" regarding reconciliation.

The reunion falls almost exactly on the anniversary of the release of Oasis' debut album, "Definitely Maybe" on August 29th, 1994. The British news agency, Press Association (PA), will release pieces from the first recording session on Friday, including unreleased versions of songs like "Live Forever", "Cigarettes & Alcohol", and "Rock 'n' Roll Star".

Post the success of "Definitely Maybe", the band reached its peak popularity with the album "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?" in 1995, featuring hits like "Wonderwall" and "Don't Look Back in Anger".

The band, formed in Manchester, will kickstart their return tour on July 4th in Cardiff, as outlined in the 14-performance lineup for Europe. The band, famous for hits like "Wonderwall" and "Don't Look Back In Anger," is excited to perform for fans once again.
