Accidents - Ice rink in Merseburg opens after tent roof collapses
The ice rink in Merseburg has opened two days late after the tent erected above it collapsed shortly before the start. A spokeswoman for the municipal utilities said on Sunday that they were very happy that the opening without a roof went so quickly. More than 100 visitors stormed the ice rink for the first Advent. Olympic bobsleigh champion Thorsten Margis also took part in the opening. On Thursday, the tent above the ice rink collapsed for unknown reasons.
