Lions Frankfurt - Ice hockey pro Maginot returns to Frankfurt

The Lion Frankfurt team has reinforced itself for the upcoming season in the German Ice Hockey League with Kevin Maginot. The 29-year-old defender returns to the Hessen after a year with ERC Ingolstadt. For Maginot, it is the third engagement with the Frankfurters, for which he already played in the 2018/19 season and from 2021 to 2023.

So far, Maginot, who received a one-year contract from the club according to the team's announcement on Saturday, has played a total of 187 games for the Hessen. "It feels like coming home," said the returnee. He is looking forward to a familiar environment, the fans, and "the new and known faces."

Team announcement

Maginot's return to Frankfurt am Main marks his third stint with the Hesse-based team in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL).
