Energy transition - Hydrogen filling station for trucks opened in Neumünster

Hydrogen now also for trucks: In Neumünster, the company Hypion put a hydrogen filling station specially optimized for heavy commercial vehicles into operation on Thursday. According to the company, 2000 kilograms of hydrogen can be handled per day. According to Hypion Managing Director Stefan Rehm, the filling station is the key building block for the H2-Hub Neumünster, which was founded in 2020. Several companies based in Neumünster that operate truck fleets have been committed to the project from the outset. The H2 hub is reportedly being funded with almost 4.9 million euros by the Federal Ministry of Transport.
