Berlin and Brandenburg residents should brace for potentially severe thunderstorms with hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain today. The day will start mostly clear to sunny, but thunderstorms may develop later, according to the German Weather Service. These storms have the potential to bring heavy rain and gusty winds. Temperatures could reach a high of 31°C (88°F) during the day.

Gusty winds and thunderstorms may continue into the night, gradually moving out by the early morning hours. Overnight lows will drop to around 14°C (57°F).

Despite the predicted clear to sunny start in Berlin and Brandenburg, meteorologists warn of an approaching Hurricane, potentially affecting the region, causing additional thunderstorms and strong winds. The Hurricane's path could intensify the gusty winds and heavy rain already forecast for tonight, potentially causing significant damage.
