The Paderborn authorities have called off their hunt for a misplaced 10-year-old. The youngster turned up safe and sound, as confirmed by the authorities in the evening. He had vanished from a specific facility sometime around 2:45 PM. The police pleaded for public assistance in the hunt, considering the possibility that the child might have hopped on a bus without any footwear.

The child's relief was palpable when he returned to Paderborn after being safely found. The local authorities decided to take down the wanted poster they had posted in and around Paderborn.
