Craft - Hundreds of chimney sweeps meet in Hanover
Some of the participants traveled across Germany by bike. They were part of a donation action, where money is given to institutions taking care of seriously ill children. According to the organizers, already 200,000 Euro have been distributed this year. The Federal Association of Chimney Sweeps represents the interests of around 7500 businesses nationwide with over 21,000 employees. With that, it represents around 97% of all businesses in Germany.
The group from Lower Saxony, including the bicycle enthusiasts, shared their donation earnings from the cycling trip in Hanover. In the future, they hope to collaborate with local chimney sweep businesses for their craft projects. The celebrated chimney sweep association in Germany, headquartered in Hanover, is one of the key partners they aim to work with.
