Bundesliga - Hummels suspended for one match after red card
Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels has been suspended for one Bundesliga match. The 34-year-old will therefore not be available for the Bundesliga club's match against FC Augsburg this weekend. This was announced by BVB on Tuesday. Hummels was shown the red card for an emergency brake in the 3-2 defeat to RB Leipzig on Saturday. "The defeat was down to me, I should never go down there to make a tackle and leave the boys on the pitch with one man less for 80 minutes," the international wrote on the social media platform X immediately after the final whistle.
