HSV plays against stronger Eintracht from Braunschweig

Hamburger SV welcome Eintracht Braunschweig to the Volksparkstadion on Friday (18:30/Sky). However, the relegation-threatened visitors are on the upswing following the change of coach. Under new coach Daniel Scherning, the team from Lower Saxony secured an important 3-2 win in the basement duel against VfL Osnabrück. Braunschweig are now five points behind the relegation places and the first non-relegation places. During the international break, Braunschweig won a test match against FC St. Pauli - leaders of the 2nd Bundesliga.

HSV, who are three points behind their arch-rivals in second place in the table, are strong at home. In six home matches, the Hamburg side have won six times. The match will be a special duel for Immanuel Pherai. The 22-year-old midfielder joined HSV from Braunschweig in the summer.

Hamburger SV will face Eintracht Braunschweig, currently showing improvement under new coach Daniel Scherning, in a crucial Bundesliga 2 match at the Volksparkstadion on Friday. Despite the visitors' recent victory against VfL Osnabrück and their upturn in form, Immanuel Pherai, a midfielder who joined HSV from Eintracht Braunschweig during the summer, is set to face his former team in this high-stakes encounter.
