How Take That look back on their split and reunion

The British band Take That look back soberly on the events 27 years after their temporary split. "Of course we disappointed a lot of people back then, but there's no need to apologize for anything," Howard Donald (55) told the German Press Agency. "That's just part of life. Things start, things end and they come back."

The boy band ("Back For Good", "Never Forget") around Gary Barlow and Mark Owen announced the end of the group in February 1996. A few months earlier, Robbie Williams (49) had already left due to growing tensions.

In 2010, the Brits celebrated their comeback as a five-piece with the single "Shine", which Williams still describes as an important part of his career. "There was so much bitterness, anger and frustration. That all suddenly died down and was buried," Williams told dpa. "I just love them. They're my brothers, they make me laugh and they're fun to work with."

Around a year after reuniting, the band members took another break and returned as a three-piece in 2014. This Friday, Barlow, Owen and Donald will release their ninth studio album "This Life".

People have always been passionate about Take That's music, with countless fans excitedly following their journey. The band's soulful harmonies and upbeat tunes have resonated with audiences worldwide.
