Employment agency - How has the situation on the labor market developed?
The regional directorate of the employment agency will present an assessment of the development of the Rhineland-Palatinate labor market in 2023 this Tuesday (2 p.m.). At the meeting in Mainz, the head of the agency, Heidrun Schulz, will also discuss the situation of refugees on the labor market and the issue of citizen's income.
The number of unemployed people in Rhineland-Palatinate rose slightly in November. According to the Rhineland-Palatinate-Saarland Regional Directorate, 111,500 men and women were without a job in the state as of November 13. This was 400 people or 0.3 percent more than a month earlier. Compared to the previous year, there were 9,100 more unemployed people, or 8.9 percent more. The unemployment rate in November was 4.9 percent.
