A residential property situated in Obermarchtal, Alb-Donau district, has become inhabitable following a fire incident. The lone inhabitant, aged 47, was hospitalized with minor injuries, according to the police. Triggered by a smoke alarm, the individual managed to flee through a window on the first floor of the blazing structure. The origin of the fire remains a mystery as of now. As per the police's assessment, the damage incurred amounts to approximately 150,000 euros.

The residential property that experienced the fire was a single-family house. Despite the extensive damage, the local authorities are investigating the possibility of restoring the single-family house to its original state.
