The city of Stralsund - House in Stralsund catches fire due to lightning strike
A lightning bolt set ablaze a home in Stralsund on Thursday. According to a representative from the Neubrandenburg police, it was the roof that caught fire. Thankfully, no one was harmed. Firefighters successfully put out the blaze. The anticipated repair costs are estimated at 50,000 euros, the police spokesperson added. Downpours and thunder storms brought about several fire department responses in various regions of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on this day.
