Munich - House fire: Senior citizens seriously injured and extensive damage

A 97-year-old man and an 81-year-old woman have been seriously injured in a fire at a detached house in Munich. Damage amounting to several 100,000 euros was also caused, a police spokesman said on Friday. The roof truss of the house caught fire during the night for reasons that were initially unclear, the fire department reported.
