A fire destroyed an apartment building in the county of Cuxhaven. The emergency forces could do nothing against the many flames.

- House burned down in Beverstedt - €400,000 in damage

A single-family home in Beverstedt (Cuxhaven district) was completely destroyed by a fire last night. The police initially estimate the damage at around 400,000 euros. No one was injured. The sole resident was able to escape on their own.

Preliminary findings suggest that the fire started in the terrace area and then spread to the house. The exact cause of the fire remains unknown. A person passing by in a car made the emergency call. Firefighting efforts continued into the night.

The fire that ravaged the home spread to engulf the terrace area. Despite the extensive damage, the homeowner managed to escape the fiery blaze unharmed.
