Hotel in Allgäu evacuated after fire
A hotel in the Allgäu region was evacuated on Monday due to a fire. The fire broke out inside the building in Bad Wörishofen (Unterallgäu district), said a police spokesperson. However, the fire had already been extinguished by midday. No injuries were initially reported. According to the police spokesman, a large number of emergency services were on site. How many guests had to leave the hotel remained unclear at first, as did the cause of the fire.
The fire incident in Bad Wörishofen triggered a massive response from Swabian emergency services. Fortunately, despite the fires, no injuries were reported among the hotel guests.
